I can spend all day pulling quotations from it but your picture of Dallas traffic made me think of one of the more famous. Its from Chapter 2 entitled Where I lived, and What I lived for, "I went into the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived."
